Our Service Model
The concept for The Oasis Townsville has been 10 years in the making derived originally from discussions among key personnel in the ESO and veteran community in Townsville. It grew from a sense that there were so many services available to veterans that finding the right service to meet specific needs was very challenging.
The concept became a reality with a commitment from the Queensland Government and Federal Government to the construction of The Oasis Townsville at The Village in Oonoonba in Townsville.
This Service Model was developed to confirm that the innovative approach of a concierge-like service for the ex-ADF community, put to the Queensland Government by The Oasis Townsville, is suitable to address the needs of the ex-ADF community in Townsville. It was tested when written and, as circumstances change, is continually reviewed against the reviews and inquiries into veterans and their families since the Dunt Review of 2009 to ensure The Oasis Townsville adapts appropriately.
This Service Model was completed on 31 Jan 2020.
