Veteran Community Integration Advisory Committee (VCIAC)

Purpose

 

The purpose of the VCIAC is to provide insights and advice to the GM to inform the design, development and implementation of The Oasis Townsville’s current and emerging services. The Committee will help to ensure that The Oasis Townsville’s operations remain suitable and acceptable for the achievement of its Vision, Mission and Goals.

Members

Membership of the VCIAC comprises the leadership of the community of organisations that significantly impact the veteran community in Townsville. Organisations represented include Defence, other government organisations, key NFP and commercial businesses upon which we rely for effective operations.

Meetings

 

Meetings are held quarterly. Meetings typically last up to 2 hours and are held at The Oasis Townsville.

Members of the VCIAC may bring additional attendees to meetings where specific expertise or knowledge may be required and as deemed appropriate by the Chair.
