Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic

Our VBA client RGM MAINTENANCE is an industry leader in providing maintenance and repair solutions within the heavy transport industry and Australian Defence Industries around Australia since 2002.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our workshop team.

RGM Maintenance is the local dealer for Mercedes Benz, Freightliner and Fuso as well as the preferred maintenance and service provider for many large fleet customers. We want someone enthusiastic and energetic to join us in the service and maintenance of these brands along with our ongoing commitment to the road, defence and fuel transport industries.

The Role:

Carry out general servicing on trucks and trailers & multiple range of vehicles
Carry out minor and major repairs to various makes & models
Resolving technical issues with the ability to understand wiring and air schematics
Diagnose & repair various faults
Carry our services/repairs in a timely manner
Above award wages with overtime available
What we are looking for:

Trade Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, due to the range of vehicles we work on, Light Vehicle mechanics may also be considered.
Someone with a can-do attitude and a willingness to get their hands dirty and give it a go.
Mechanical aptitude and a passion for what you do.
An understanding of the importance of delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Ability to listen well and comprehend complex tasks, exceptional time management and organisational skills.
Current driver’s license is required – MR/HR/HC will be highly advantageous.
