Job Details:
The Cubic Exercise Planners manage the planning, coordination and delivery of exercise support.
Role Responsibilities:
Writing and sequencing exercise Events, Incidents and Injects employing digital exercise planning software.
Production of supporting documentation using exercise planning software and Defence systems.
Provide instruction and training on planning and execution of exercises, activities and the systems that support them.
Support Defence personnel with the delivery of exercises/activities as required.
Ensure that documentation is stored appropriately on Defence systems.
Provide advice and support for the development of activity/exercise planning requirements and methodologies.
Conduct of designated activity/exercise micro planning and other related tasks as directed by Defence staff.
Attendance at planning and coordination conferences
Be prepared to assume exercise/activity Site Manager duties.
About You:
7 years military experience including military training and exercises
Understanding of either amphibious, Battle group or Brigade exercise operations
Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite of applications
The successful candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team and to manage a team to ensure high performance. They will be flexible to travel when required as this role will require periods of travel and extended hours
Condition of Employment:
Successful outcome of a National Police Check
Ability to hold a high level Defence security clearance
