Job Details:
Job Summary: This position will manage the planning, coordination and delivery of exercise support, whilst representing Cubic to the customer. May manage a team either directly or indirectly

This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides Battlegroup and Brigade analysis in the field to Defence
Manages areas of responsibility, to include: exercise planning, cost management, resource allocation, preparation of equipment, deployment of assets to training areas. Ensures programs are delivered on time and within budget
Ensures any exercise risks are appropriately managed
Maintains records in line with documentation control methods
Mentors, trains, and develops staff to ensure high performance. Ensures team has all necessary skills to provide a high level of service
Provides technical leadership to the team as well as being an on-site presence for the team
Provides exercise reporting for senior management
Manages any third-party contractors as required
General Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Job Requirements:


Qualifications

Certificate IV Training and Assessment or RPL equivalency
Skills/Experience/Knowledge

7 years military experience
Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite of applications
Personal Qualities

Ability to work as part of a team and to manage a team to ensure high performance
Excellent verbal communication skills
Unparalleled negotiation skills
High levels of customer support and service delivery
Excellent time management, organisational and project management skills
Self-motivated
Have the flexibility to travel when required as this role will require periods of travel and extended hours
Condition of Employment:
