First Aid Trainer and Assessor

The purpose of a St John Ambulance Queensland (SJAQ) First Aid Trainer & Assessor’s role is to:
• Deliver and assess St John Ambulance first aid courses and related training to students from the public, community and / or industry.
• Deliver a high quality and lasting positive student / customer experience.
• Contribute to students receiving a high-quality high value service from a professional organisation that is easy to deal with.
To achieve this purpose, a Trainer & Assessor is reasonably required to:
• Complete all work safely to set standards for Quantity, Quality, Resources and Timeliness.
• Comply with all regulatory, including St John Ambulance Australia Ltd. (SJAA) (the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) 88041), standards to meet Vocational Education Training (VET) and other relevant legislation.
• Comply with all SJAQ policies, procedures, standards and operational instructions / guides.
A Trainer & Assessor is expected to be a positive brand ambassador in all their interactions with students, clients and the community.

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent/successor as stated in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations.
• TAELLN411 Address language, literacy and numeracy skills, or equivalent (or ability to obtain this qualification).
• Additional qualifications in a related field is an advantage (e.g. paramedicine, nursing, health care, vocational education)

Customer Service Coordinator

To deliver exceptional Customer Service to Horan and Birds’ clientele on a daily basis by being the first point of contact for customer enquiries, either in person, via email or over the phone. Being able to deal with complaints/disputes, identifying customer needs and ensuring the complaint is rectified and recorded throughout the process through to resolution. This role is also responsible for capturing customer satisfaction data and reporting trends and solutions to management.

Installation Coordinator

The Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective planning and scheduling of all resources to manage contractor installations activities. The position entails reaching out to contractors to gain future install dates and entering the install availability into a Sales Calendar for the Sales specialists. Once the Sales Specialist have booked a customer’s install, you will ensure that the booking is managed end to end, liaising with both the contractor and customer, as well as keeping the Sales Specialist updated. There will be times where an install needs to be rescheduled, the coordinator will be responsible for liaising with the contractor for updates and negotiating a rescheduled date with the customer. You will constantly update the customer on the status of their install. The coordinator will be the point of contact for the contractor on day of installation, and will problem solve any issues that arise on the day. This position requires a high level of customer commitment, and the ability to form strong relationships with contractors. You will be a team player with well-developed interpersonal skills and adept at conflict management. The coordinator role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Scheduler - Sales

The Purpose of this position is to provide specific and proficient support in co-ordinating and scheduling appointments for our Sales Force.

• Promote Horan & Bird’s products and services.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to Horan & Bird’s internal and external customers, contractors and supply partners.

General:
• To be the point of contact between the lead generator and Sales Specialists.
• Generate appointments for the Sales Specialists.

The Tactical Analyst is responsible or the provision of observation and analytical support to trainers during exercises. The Tactical Analyst is the principal interface with Army Observer Trainers on military exercises for the dissemination of simulation information relating to military tactical manoeuvre. The Tactical Analyst is also the primary resource for training military personnel in the operation and maintenance of simulation training equipment.

Eligibility to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Industry security clearance.
Understands the environment and terminology utilised by Army, specifically in the area of Combined Arms Training up to Combat Team level
