Wellbeing Case Manager/Coordinator

  • 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday 0900h to 1500h.

  • Flexible hours, esp to accommodate young kids schooling

  • Assist in the intake, assessment and case management of clients in our Wellbeing Program, this part-time role is a key part of providing support to ADF veterans.

  • We are seeking an individual with:

    • a connection to the ADF community, who understands the unique nature and needs of those who serve and have served in the ADF

    • life experience

    • a passion to help others

    • a  willingness to learn and undertake further training as required

    • able to start within by the end of May

  • Operating out of The Oasis Townsville Veterans and Families Home Base in Oonoonba.

Nexus Team Member

  • We have five members of this team now but expect some to be posted by the end of the year. It is our goal to keep this team at about five members. 

  • 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 0900h to 1500h.

  • The Nexus Team is responsible for the management of information required to conduct wellbeing operations and for maintaining the accuracy of information about providers of services to The Oasis Townsville - Service Directory. They also support the GM and Centre Manager with administrative and research tasks to keep the back office functioning smoothly.

  • Key attributes are:  

    • Demonstrated competency in the Microsoft Office suite, esp. Outlook, Word and Excel 

    • Proven ability in database data entry and attention to detail 

    • High level written and verbal communication skills  

    • High level organisational and time management skills and generates a culture of continuous improvement 

    • Demonstrates personal integrity, tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters. 

    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
