About The Event

As part of a national program run by Archery Australia, in partnership with Veteran Sport Australia,Townsville Target Archers are running a target archery course for veterans. You'll learn the basics, try your hand at a friendly competition and have fun along the way. After you have completed the introduction course, the club would like family and friends around 10.30am, to meet at the field at the start of the competition to cheer on their veteran. A sausage sizzle is planned as the final arrows strikes home for everyone to enjoy during which the winner will be announced.

Townsville Target Archers is a small not for profit organisation and as such an event entry fee of $40 will go towards covering costs associated with this event (loss of arrows, target faces, butt damage, and sausage sizzle.) This can only be accessed through Archery Australia's website events page and click on the REGISTER button at the top of the page.
