Become

a Wellbeing Navigator or

a Compensation Advocate

Introduction

There is a need for Wellbeing Navigators and Compensation Advocates to assist members of the ex-ADF community to establish a plan for dealing with the 10 Veteran Community Needs, which can include dealing with DVA in having service recognised and claims for rehabilitation and compensation satisfied.

At The Oasis Townsville, we are placing an increased emphasis on Wellbeing Navigators over the traditional DVA Welfare Advocates as we believe sitting down with an experienced Navigator can help make a coherent plan for our clients manage all 10 Veteran Community Needs. Only one of those needs is compensation and rehabilitation. And often the needs are dependant on each other and can not be addressed in isolation.
